For my homies in Vancouver: back in the hood for a week, from this Friday evening til the 9th of September. So, let’s hook up, yo.
Not much else lately. I’ve discovered during the last week that I’m amazingly efficient when sick – got lots done while working on PRMan 10.0, which we announced at SIGGRAPH so it’s not much of a secret anymore. (Couldn’t afford to take sick time, what with taking next week off and everyone else out of the office.) Otherwise, it’s just been dealing with a severe cold since last Tuesday. I finally cracked on Saturday, bought some Tylenol cold pills, and after popping a couple passed out and slept for around 20 hours – been on the mend since then, nothing but an occasional hacking cough now.
Mimi is alive and well, called today from Kingston. School starts in just over a week for her. I promised care packages.
